Confessions of a Cat Freak

You enjoy spending time with your cat, whether you’re playing or just cuddling on the sofa. But sometimes you don’t have a choice but to leave your cat alone— especially if you’re working outside your home. Even if your cat is used to leaving you on a daily basis, they can get sad and you should know the signs that there might be a problem.
Coming home to see the cat just sitting in the same place it was when you left that morning, it’s easy to assume they’re pretty happy with nothing to do with it. But they get bored as curious and social beings, and they could always use some training to match.
People think that cats can be left alone because they sleep so much and appear to be alone, but Johnson-Bennett notes that they also need stimulation and enrichment. This will allow your pet to relieve any anxiety issues and behavioral problems that may arise as a result.
The legitimate, vet-approved answer to this question is that you should never leave your cat home alone for more than 24 hours without having anyone check on her.
Even the well-behaved cats have to go. Your cat’s litter can become very polluted for a few days (or even a few hours!). She’s likely to stop using it and continue using your floors when that occurs, partially to criticize the deplorable conditions. That, yeah, fair. You should probably use a cat sitter that visit once a day to clean the dirty cat litter or if you don’t have any money to use a cat sitter, having a second litter box will help. However, if your cat feels uncomfortable, your favorite carpet might be the next litter box. So, you can’t leave your cat home alone for too long.
Yes, cats get lonely. They may not show it as much as dogs, but they do. A number of the cat owner will testify to returning home and finding a “gift” of diarrhea on their beloved top once left alone for too long. A cat’s way to protest. In fact, cats can become upset and stop eating. A cat can have health problems if he or she goes without food for more than 24 hours. Lonely cats can become harmful, too. In fact, kittens should never be left alone for longer than half a day. We need to eat at least four hours a day, and they need to consume wet food for a more balanced diet.
Wet food needs to be refreshed. If you can’t possibly be there for a day, you will buy an automated wet food feeder. Kittens are also more enthusiastic and can wreak havoc when left to their own devices. A single kitten can be extremely lonely quite easily.
Cats need stimulation, please! Based on the nature of your pet, it may become aggressive or even distressed if it goes too long without being stimulated. You should probably tell your cat sitter to play with your cat twice a day or give your cat fun toys (cat trees, cat perches, or a window seat).
According to RSPCA, cats are one of the most abused animals in society today. The effects of negligence will contribute to more than just grumpiness. Without adequate relaxation and socialization, cats can experience anxiety, obesity and other major health problems.
In contrast to pet neglect pet obesity has also become a growing issue over the years. According to a number of studies, most American cats are either overweight or obese. This is primarily due to a lack of sleep and exercise.
The fatter they are, the more to love better? It’s absolutely wrong. Cats who are overweight or obese have a 2.8x higher mortality rate than their smaller peers and are at high risk of developing serious health problems. Here is the percentage of US cat size.

Research has also shown that obesity can also have a mental impact on your cat. Overweight cats ranked less on health, quality of life and satisfaction, and more on suffering and mental distress.
Feeding and grooming your pet is probably the biggest thing to keep in mind while you’re not home. Note that cats require fresh water and having them on a regular food routine is of paramount importance.
If you have them around when you go, you don’t know what kind of mess a cat might get in. Cats are particularly prone to the use of tinsel, which is toxic. Make sure that the decoration is out of reach before you leave your cat alone.
So, do you still want to leave your cat home alone?
